“The cabins were perfect for our retreat! Kelly was an amazing host! She responded no matter the time and was such a resource for anything we needed. Our students and staff enjoyed their experience. The outdoors are breathtaking! The hills are steep so be mindful with your car but it’s the mountains so that’s expected. Locals were very welcoming at every store and trail we visited. The only advice I have is adding outdoor bathrooms/shower to lakeside. Thank you for a great experience!”

“Great stay for our youth group. We enjoyed the fishing pond and all the fun they have packed into these beautiful homes with hot tubs, saunas, ping pong, pool, games and more.”

“I wish I could rate this stay higher. We thoroughly enjoyed the property tucked away in a quiet wooded area with thematic living spaces. However, there were two main downfalls with our stay: layout is unclear from the listing, and there were bed bugs. First, the two cabins do not share the same pond, so guests need to either walk down the incredibly steep driveway or take a 10-minute walk around the ponds. The Lakeside Cabin has two showers which are both located in the ensuite of the two bedrooms, while the people in the Loft area and the Bunk Room in the basement have to shuttle through the bedrooms to share the shower. We traveled with family and were able to make this work, but this information could have been clearer on the listing. There's very little privacy in the Lakeside Cabin with the amount of beds in open space with no door (Loft and Bunk Room) and the limited bathroom access. In the Waterfall Lodge, the Treehouse room has an air mattress and nothing else. We noticed several missing fire alarms. Second, we found bed bugs and, while limited to one person's bed, the host was slow to provide any sort of action and there was no resolution during our stay. After our stay we engaged with several rounds of negotiations, and with the help of Vrbo intervening, we finally reached a resolution. The host was professional while exchanging messages, but we would have expected a bit more urgency on their end. Other than that, we enjoyed our stay here.”
