Meet our founders
Elliott & Kylie Caldwell
It all started in March of 2021 when Kylie and I purchased our first short-term rental in the mountains above Asheville, North Carolina. Our objective was to gain financial freedom and at the same time deliver a premium guest experience for visitors to the Great Smoky Mountains.
We fell quickly in love with welcoming guests to our home and began acquiring and self-managing more properties. We had experimented with using property management companies but we found that their only interest was earning a quick buck and they put minimum effort into the guest experience.
In an effort to grow and learn from the best, we approached Michael and Jill Elefante who were already making great tracks in the short-term rental space. We immediately realized that we shared a vision and together, we founded Home Team Luxury Rentals!
Meet our founders
Michael & Jill Elefante
Jill and I began investing in short term rentals in 2019. Our goal was to take full control of our time and we loved the idea of offering vacation spaces where guests would create happy memories.
We began with two properties in Nashville, Tennessee and quickly expanded, adding two in Gatlinburg, and two in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. Fast forward to 2022 and we are Airbnb Superhosts and the founder of the Airbnb Investor Academy.
We are loving every minute of our short-term rental adventure!
